Pre NZ backpacking trip

It feels like I'm gonna be away for good..
Like there's so many things that I wanna bring with me..
but thinking that I'll be moving from place to place often, all these things would add weight to my fragile shoulder.. :'(

I actually started packing some items tat I won't be using till my trip start..
It actually took me almost de whole day to pack..
Good thing I started packing early..
OMG! It's like exploding alreadie.. 0.0
N there's alot more to go in..

I'm scared that I'm too 'over' with too many or huge luggage..
Finally decided with a 26" roller n a backpack..
Guess I'll have to get alot of ziploc/compression bag..
Squeeze all my clothes!.. >.<

It's hard to pack light for a long trip with seasons..
Especially for ladies.. >.<
I'm going to experience Winter Spring N Summer..
THICK n light clothings..
Must reallie decide wat not to bring.. T.T

This is my 1st solo backpacking trip..
Looking forward to meet alot of experienced friendly n nice backpackerss!..
Please guide mee yo.. @.@
It's lesser than 10 days to my departure..
Mm..feeling excited, curious, worried, hopeful..

To Korea by Asiana

Haven't been on a non budget flight for a long time..

Last time was when I'm still little, with parents..

Bought the ticket at a discounted price at cheapticket.com..am thankful..

the only worries is..yet to received flight and accommodation fare that I've paid 1st, back from the person i've traveled with..troubled and sadded..I'm not rich thou.. :'(

^^ i have meals and entertainment system for both to and return flight.. :)

Best thing is the flight is not full.. :)

I've met my previous airline co worker/friend when checking in.. :)

It's some friends that I've met, known and made that make me realized that my life wasn't wasted..

I never regretted working in this line..though stressful n tough, but learned and experienced alot too.. 

Maybe took too much budget flight..on a non budget flight, everything was like 'whao'..

  I guess what makes Asiana Airline special was..they serve Bibimbap onboard flight to Korea..

thou some rice was like overcooked.. -.-'

Got our bus ticket to seoul(hostel)..

Taiwan trip part 2

After delaying for 2 month plus..
Finally got myself to complete this...

Part 2 of my Taiwan solo trip..

At 1st i was so afraid that i will lost my way since I've never been there before..

Thank god..Taipei's road sign is quite tourist friendly..

After exiting jian tan subway station, I saw the road sign to shilin night market..

same goes to wu fen pu..

but direction to wu fen pu is more complicated..

having some street logic/senses, i just followed the crowd..hahahaha.. -.-'

thinking that since it's a popular spot, where locals and foreigners frequent, people exiting that station must be heading there.. :P

Happened to pass by this sushi place..
with not so pricey price, decided to had it for my dinner after my wu fen pu shopping..
Happy! :) Eating alone in foreign country is not easy..
wants to try different dishes but worried cannot finish.. -.-'

It's now in Singapore too..at Citylink mall and Orchard 313..
but Taiwan's outlet have Chawamushi a few more dishes though..

got my ticket early in the morning..kinda last minute though..
luckily there's seat but need to change cabin..

Coz it's end of the weekend, the train is sooo squeezy and crowded..
I almost fainted with my huge and heavy luggage..
another passenger suggested and helped me to place it overhead..
which kept me worried thru out the journey..'how to bring down when i need to alight?!'
initially i need to change cabin too, but in the end i stayed in the same cabin..
the squeezy crowded train lasted till taipei..after taipei, it's almost empty.. 0.0
'so everyone is heading to taipei..' i was laughing inside..

after getting a seat, i took some scenery shots on my way to luo dong..

yahh..it's been like raining most part of my journey in Taiwan..

Last shopping stop..Tam Sui old street..
As usual..it's raining.. -.-zZ

plus strong wind too..my umbrella almost turn the other way..

this caught my eyes..mini lobster and crabs..but didn't buy luh..

A little regret..unable to continue walking most of the street..rains gets heavier, wind blowing and tired me with my bag getting heavier..zZ
thinking of the long return road with uphill..i decided to return to my hotspring hotel..
i didn't step out after that..listening to the sound of raindrop outside..enjoying my hotspring..final luggage packing..hahaha..
Afterall, i think this is a good trip!..
Experienced cooling weather, air and better skin..

Beach road army market

Finally I've made my way to the legendary beach road army market to get my backpack trip stuff..
It's good shopping here..
I can get to bargain and most importantly, the people here are welcoming n nice.. :)
Though I didn't have any meals there that day, but it's well known for having lots of nice, delicious, almost extinct and budgeted food..

Exit at exit A..there's signboard telling you the directions and exit the overhead bridge...

you'll start seeing st john headquarters..

just follow the map and locate kampong glam community centre..

the building is just next to it.. :)
