Healthier Fish Soup

Loved their Fish Soup kway tiao!..
Two things special/different is..
their kway tiao is those large piece kind N fish soup is healthier..
If I'm not wrong, their fish soup doesn't have MSG..
At 1st i thought it won't taste nice..
but after trying, i really liked the soup..
with the big piece kway tiao, it's really good..

VIP style dinner

Had a dinner at peach garden a few days ago..
I guess this is my 1st time being served like a VIP..
Though it's not at a super high class restaurant or hotel, but i think the service N food are above expectation..

Every dish was plated, portion nicely for everyone..
N I the drinks hardly reach the bottom..

Conclusion is, it's a good choice for treating a big group of people..
as in being seated in rooms kind..
The price definitely will not be cheap but its quite worth seeing your guest happy..

Instant mee

Influenced by brother..
He's a fan of instant noodle..[packet or cup]
No idea since when, we started exploring instant mee..
locally N overseas, new N old..
Whenever we had families trip overseas, we never fail to try them..

It became quite essential to mee..
ever been to chalet with nothing except raw food N charcoal, it became important..
ever been to complimentary stay at local hotel/resort with nothing except super high end dining place, it became important too..

I ever mentioned bringing cup noodles or getting some home when traveling with friends, they started laughing at mee..hass..
yea..expected reaction though..
i also do agree that it seems kinda auntie behavior..Haaass.. -.-

N yea..i wanna recommend some of my fav..

First Choice - Tom Yum
Kinda low in price, Often out of stock..
don't cook too long yo..


Nissin - Tom Yum Goong
Shiok-ness, small but spicy with some sour taste


Super - Mee Goreng
Recommended by my colleague
Dry noodle - add seasoning only after draining off hot water yo..

Have been tuning in to FM quite often recently..
As it's too bored in the office..zZ
Happened to come across a mandarin song that goes 'UU UUU'
the 1st impression that comes to my mind is Luo Zhi Xiang..
but some how I thought how come that sounds so much like Pan Weibo..

i was like Err..
N has been wondering for like days..
until yesterday, I'm finally enlightened :)
I saw Wilber Pan's "UUU" MV..
N goes orh...haas.. -.-

I'm sorry, my two favorite celebrity..
This shows that they've succeed in a way..

Most Adorable Friend

I Loved this little member of ours!

He has joined us for about 3 years..


He was really small when we 1st bought him home..

It's not easy to keep a pet though..
Gotta train him to pee N poo at the right place..
if he did it somewhere else, we gotta clear it till he do it right..
sometimes, i don know to laugh or cry -.-


He bites on anything within his reach..
Gotta get him lotsa toys to bite..
Fortunately, his destruction level wasnt that high..phew..

I've learned alot since he joined us..
like what are the food they are not allowed to eat..
For a period of time he keep biting himself that i got so worried..
then i got him this..

so that he will stop biting himself..

i have no idea what's going on until i send him for grooming..
they told me he has skin infection or something..
like the skin shouldnt be pink..
to reduce the itch, i got him botak and changed his diet..

1st time getting botak..

There's lotsa happy times having him around too..
he never fails to make us smile..
with his acts and cuteness..

he knows where to find spot for tanning..

Unforgettable Memories

Initially, I wasn't sure is this what i wanted..
went there half hearted, not knowing anything..
Then I realize this is what I've been looking forward to and have never encounter in my previous employment.. I'm finally on the right track :)
After knowing and being through so much, I found warmth and sense of belonging here at MBS..

I'm proud to tell everyone that I'm working here :)
I really thank godss for giving me a chance to be here :)

N I'm sure I'll be back someday :)

Though there are negative times too, but if it wasn't bcos I've tried another hotel, I won't realize how fortunate I was back there..
N I'm sure I'll keep this in mind..
Be contented with what I have, then I'll feel the joy N happiness..

Now I'm missing the route to work, place, scenery, people N food..

witnessing the 1st day of the Circle line in operation, on my way to work at Mountbatten..
MBS haven't totally moved to its current place back then..
Mm..the crowd is like going for concert..haas..

We have special treats occasionally, like ice cream..
simple things but it does brighten up many people's day.. :)

I'm glad that I've got the chance to witness the grand opening of MBS, the first few to be up at the skypark.. :)
I've been through most Public Holidays at work, witnessing events happening..
seen numerous NDP rehearsals..

people crowding to witness the fireworks..

Lots of eventful N happy days that I miss..
Like F1, YOG, seeing jay zhou N other celebrities in person..
Aww..

I'll never forget everything good i had..
Meanwhile, it's time to move on too..
I believe I'll find something similar or even better soon.. :)
or maybe someday I'll be back oO.. :)

Special ang bao packet

My parents are big fans of red packet..
They collect lotsa red packet from different organisation..
Not those with money, but those with special value..
Some with nice design right from the packaging, some with good ideas..
Then, i discovered that a lot of organisation actually puts in lotsa effort and ideas designing their red packet..

I discovered one from starhub..

not only can use it as ang bao packet but teaches us how to fold it into a rabbit and also matches this year zodiac..

Sunny Sentosa

My frequent place when I need some peace N comfort..
Loved the Sun, Sand N Sea..
Err.. this only applies when i'm on my tanning trip..
i liked to tan and sweat all my tiredness out, but not in formal wear uh..

I'll feel energetic and relax after tanning..
sweating all the bad energy out.. :)

Recently, more n more cafe are offering deck chairs + food n drinks..

cos i'm not sure if there's any charges for entrance..
N i'm so used to bring my own things, finding myself a good spot N start my undisturbed tanning spree..
Recently i've got enlightened by my friend..
then i realize that i just have to order something, i can enjoy their facilities..haas.. -.-"

Sentosa sure have changed a lot..
guess there's more changes coming up..
more hotels, facilities, attractions etc..

Batam trip :)

Welcome to batam!.. :)

Free N easy VS tour packages..
went there twice with friends..
Both was with promotion package..

1st time - NATAS, Passion Card Promotion, Free N Easy
with Batam View Resort..

Upon arriving the resort bus send us to the Resort..
Checked in, unpack, rest a little N set out to explore the little island :)

the cab driver was very nice..he act as our tour guide too..
he drove us around, brought us to most of the shopping malls N introduced us a very nice massage place..
we even bought a tube of the scrub back.. :)

if I'm not wrong, the massage place is somewhere near the holland bakery shop..
located at a corner..their counter has a menu with description of the variety of their scrub..

Another must try is their Pizza Hut!..
kinda different from Singapore, but Nice..

N there's a beach nearby, well equipped with seasport and beach volley facilities..
thought of trying the 2nd day but was too busy lazing in bed instead :x


N they have a mini bird park too..
with a parrot saying 'halow'

A&W is a must have!..long waited yo..

went there in pax of 4, just right to share a cab throughout, saved lotsa spending :)
3 of us and the camera man..hees..
a fun N enjoyable trip with a total spending of lesser than SGD$200.. :) :) :)

2nd time - tour packages through agency
this time we have 14 pax..

got ourselves a tour guide and bus to show us around..


1st stop was to visit the guan yin statues..

the picture of the villas and group photo was taken there..
nice environment yaa..

also visited their famous apparel Ralph Lauren Polo shop..
Mm..had a long wait at that stop.. :(
another group of guest in the same tour bought a plenty of their products.. -.-"

We had lunch at Golden Prawn eating place..
with chilli crab, steam fish, kang kong, soup, mini crispy prawns, 1st time trying gong gong N nice fried sotong but a strand of long hair was found -.-"

explored their old style convenience shop..
visited 12 different miniature house design..
N proceed on to some activities..
like go cart, flying fox..

overall, the best is flying fox :)

Finally we are back at our Resort to Clean up, Rest N Chill..
